Brooke Oldfin
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
Growing up in Ontario and having lived and trained in the US, my cross-border experiences have shaped the warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely human presence I bring into the counselling room. I believe counselling holds space for the hard and heavy, but it can also be a place of lightness, laughter, and real connection. My goal is for you to feel safe, seen, and free to show up exactly as you are — because the most meaningful work happens when we can be our most authentic selves together. Grounded in a trauma-informed approach, I work to create a sense of safety and belonging from the very first session.
My style is compassionate and collaborative, and sometimes a little humorous. Healing doesn't have to be relentlessly serious, and I think there's something powerful about finding moments of levity alongside the deeper work.
My approach is person-centred and individualistic, and we will collaborate to create an experience that best suits your needs. I draw on somatic, strength-based, and DBT approaches, with a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection. I believe our bodies carry wisdom our minds don't always have words for, and weaving somatic awareness into our work can open up a whole new layer of understanding and healing.

As a former Division I track and field athlete, I have a special place in my heart for working with fellow athletes — whether you're navigating performance pressure, identity, burnout, or the transition out of sport. I know firsthand what it means to compete at a high level, and I love supporting athletes in strengthening their mental game, learning to thrive under pressure, or rediscovering their identity after athletic careers. I also work with children, teens, and emerging adults, and feel genuinely privileged to walk alongside people during some of life's most formative chapters. Whatever brings you here, I hope our work together becomes a space entirely your own — to explore, heal, and grow into your strongest and most authentic self.
